29/11/2011 : The 2011 AGM was held on last night 28th November 2011 with a good attendance from across the membership. The Secretary's report covered the key aspects of the club activities for the year - both on and off the field. The Treasurer reported on the current state of club accounts and the overall status of the business side of Mayfield GAA.
In his Chairman's report, AJ Cronin reflected on the overall successes in 2011 - ranging from the successful Gala dinner in February to our fantastic run in the Junior A Hurling Championship. The key message was the extensive and considerable efforts put into the Club by volunteers at all levels to support both the sporting side of the club and the social/community aspects of Mayfield GAA. Looking ahead to 2012, the over-riding message is a positive one - the Club can be successful in all it's endeavours if we work together as a team as in 2011.
